The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception is the Cathedral Church for the Diocese of Brownsville. Built in 1859 the Cathedral is the oldest church in the Diocese of Brownsville at over 160 years old. The Cathedral serves all the Faithful of the Rio Grande Valley. On average the Cathedral has over 100,000 visitors per year! Join us for Mass, Holy Hour, Prayer, or just a look around! There are no strangers at the Cathedral, only friends we have yet to meet!
